Orientations – Every member is entitled to one free orientation. It is recommended you redeem your orientation when you first join the gym so you can understand the equipment and workout safely. It is a 30 minute session which mostly covers the cardio and Precore® rooms, but can be adapted to your needs. A $15 fee is charged if it is not your first orientation. If you are a member ages 12-14 you are required to have an orientation before you use the cardio or Precore® rooms.
Group Exercise – Here at the Wendell P. Clark YMCA we offer a wide variety of group exercises free for our members. You’ll find something for everyone from gentle Aquaerobic and Yoga classes to high energy HIIT and Les Mills Body Pump Classes . Our certified and trained staff will ensure that you get the best workout no matter your fitness level. Members 12-14 may attend classes with adult supervision. You can see our entire offering in our Program Guide. Class offerings will vary throught the year.

Barre & Stretching
This class is a perfect mix of ballet, yoga and pilates. Get longer, leaner and more toned legs, arms and abs while training with this new class. With use of a barre or chair we can focus on isometric strength training and contracting smaller movements to work specific muscle areas, combined with high reps of small range-of-motion movements. This class incorporates light handheld weights to bring the burn during all those reps, as well as mats for targeted core work.
Core and More
This class is for all levels that focuses on core, abdominals, glutes, lower back, hips and shoulders. This class is designed to build core muscles, improve posture and increase flexibility. Many modifications to make this class yours.
Vinyasa is a style of yoga characterized by stinging postures together so that you move from one to another, seemlessly, using breath. Commonly referred to as "flow" yoga.
Yin Yang Yoga
For balancing energy, flexibility and strength. Yin Yanf Yoga blends two styles of yoga into one practice-bringing together the benefits of passively holding yoga poses with more dynamic sequences and standing postures.
Zumba Plus Toning (45 MIN)
Zumba is a fitness program that combines Latin and international music with dance moves. Zumba routines incorporate interval training mixing between fast and slow rhythms while also incorporating resistance training. Get ready to get your heart pumping and get your dancing shoes on for this fun upbeat class! Modifiable and for all levels of fitness.
